Microalgae are one of the most important microscopic organisms in aquaculture because of its high value as feeds for fish and shrimp hatcheries. However, microalgal production is limited and sometimes insufficient due to its dependency on weather and culture techniques.

With the Microalgal Paste, fisher folks can use an instant feed as an alternative to on-site algal culture, especially when rations of live algae are insufficient. The Microalgal Paste is a concentrate of liquid microalgae cells, which can be used in nurseries as feed for larval fish, shrimp, and other aquaculture species. It is easy to apply and can be provided to the stock anytime. It can also be refrigerated for several months without decreasing its nutritional quality.
