Rice harvest doesn’t stop during the wet season in the Philippines. However, rice harvested during this season exhibits very high moisture content that affects the quality of rice.
The Infrared Grain Dryer for Rice is a new rapid-drying technology for paddy rice using far-infrared technology. It has an average milling recovery of 69.5% and head rice yield of 47%.
