Making a perfect coffee bean is no easy task. Numerous considerations have to be made such as the types of beans and materials to be used in various stages of coffee processing. Farmers along with different stakeholders continues to provide innovations that will enrich the quality of our local coffee products.
The Coffee Dryer featured is a greenhouse-type solar dryer, retrofitted with biomass furnace for coffee beans, and capable of operating at low temperature with no source of electricity. It intends to provide an alternative method for drying coffee beans instead of directly exposing to sunlight.
